About Us

John Ivan, Barley Grass Juice Powder

John's Barley Grass Juice Powder is owned and operated by John Ivan, a Chicago nutrition coach and restaurant consultant. Always interested in nutrition, he is a yoga enthusiast, bicyclist, and enjoys mountain hiking in Greece and the Greek islands.

After operating restaurants in Chicago and Los Angeles he began helping others open restaurants and stay out of financial trouble. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University.

"I'm in good shape, so people were always asking me 'What do you do; how do you keep up your energy?' I told them about the tremendous success I was getting from Barley Grass Juice drinks. I was buying in bulk because of the quantity I was taking, then I was giving it to people, and when they wanted more they started buying it from me."

Sharing The Evolution

John shared the evolution of his nutrition education. "Twenty years ago, eating whole wheat and lean chicken was cutting edge. Now I understand that it's minerals in the soil that transfer into the plant product that we ingest." This has led him to share what he has learned about what he calls "superfoods."
